Hello! 

My name is Rosalie Tuomey and I live in Cleburne, Texas (USA) with my husband and two cats.

I was born and raised in rurual Texas, but have also lived in Dallas and Fort Worth.  When a child, I loved chasing armadillos.  I am more familiar with rattlesnakes than I would like to be.  Ever been to a rattlasnake roundup!  What fun!  Seriously they give me the creeps!

I am Scotch-Irish American, but am a 4th-generation Texan.  This all affects my interests.  Food, animals, everything Celtic, Texas history, Southern USA culture, religion and current events fascinate me.

The world is a fascinating place when you think about it!  Especially in the times we are living in.  People from all over the world get together every day on the Internet.  The globe is definitely shrinking.  I believe this is a good thing! 

I simply love meeting people from other countries and learning about their customs.  It is always so very interesting!  Cuisines from different countries also fascinate me.

Writing is a wonderful way to express ideas......so I am trying to learn how to write here at HubPages. 

I will be writing about current events, food, animals, history, culture of the world and Lords knows what else!
